Surrounded by huge Ayrshire skies, we'll paint a beautifully evocative summer sky in oils with all the colours of the rainbow!
And we're gonna paint it BIG! Working on a 50cm (approx 20") square canvas - we'll be painting a gorgeous show-stopping summer sky.
SATURDAY 24TH AUGUST

Venue: Craigie Village Hall
ALL materials (including quality 50x50cm canvas) and buffet lunch included
So if you've tried the small workshop, this might be the perfect accompaniment - paint a different sky with different foreground - a totally different painting but the perfect match to your wee one.
Using oil paint - fret not, oils are THE most friendly medium - we'll allow these soft, glowing skies to emerge from our canvas.
Working on a coloured surface, bringing the blues & lilacs to life, then injecting some zesty oranges and pinks - you can choose how you finish your painting - a gentle seascape, lush green fields, a highland mountain range or perhaps slip a wee Ailsa Craig or Arran in the distance. The choice is yours.
Full step by step guidance given, where needed - this workshop is NOT suitable for total beginners but perfect if you've painted the wee version earlier in summer.
You'll leave with a finished oil painting - ready to hang or frame - and sure to impress everyone who sees it!

*We WILL be using some turpentine, this workshop is not suitable for waterbased oils or acrylics*
