This eye-popping large oil painting is inspired again by my visit to the blackhouses nestled on the shore of Berneray.

Bold, bright colour - glorious red roof and washing blowing in the wind - turquoise sea lapping on the pink sands and framed by wild flowers and crocosmia, all of my favourite things wrapped up in one big glorious celebration of a Simple Life.
