Just plenty of paint, experimentation and confident decision-making.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWeek 2 — Underpainting on Coloured Grounds\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWe’ll explore how different coloured grounds can affect the mood, atmosphere and energy of a painting.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eYou’ll work over warm, cool, dark and brighter backgrounds, allowing parts of the ground to remain visible and become part of the finished piece.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWeek 3 — Working Thin to Thick\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOne of the key principles of oil painting.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWe’ll look at building a painting from loose, thinner layers into richer, more opaque paint — creating depth, interest and movement without turning everything to mud.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eWe'll also cover a bit of colour mixing this week.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWeek 4 — Palette Knife, Texture \u0026amp;
