The Walled Garden Pavilion, Dumfries House Estate
A day of play and experimentation to kick start your autumn work.
We'll be working in mixed media - working loosely, quickly and on a series of mini paintings all inspired by the glorious surroundings - whether that be florals, landscapes, architecture - you choose, this is your time to play and feed your soul with inspiration.
You'll be welcome to spend time outdoors if the weather is kind or spend the whole day immersed in our glorious studio.
The Walled Garden Pavilion will be your studio for the day and we'll start off (as we do in DH) with a glass of Bucks Fizz and a chat about the plans and ideas.
I will be on hand for guidance and will be happy to demo throughout.
Top up with some tea/coffee and shortbread throughout the day as and when you need, with a light lunch of soup and sandwich each day and a time to catch up with your fellow artists.
This workshop is NOT suitable for beginners. We'll be working in WATER-BASED media.

ALL materials & surfaces included but please bring palettes, water vessel, any brushes and materials you'd like to use alongside.
