🌊 WILD WATERCOLOUR LANDSCAPES – Aa mixed media experimental workshop

Harbour Arts Centre, Irvine • Friday 8th August • 11am–3pm

Let loose with layers of luscious watercolour, coloured inks, gouache and mark-making materials in this full-day workshop designed to shake up your painting practice.

You’ll be creating a semi-abstract diptych (two linked pieces) on rich watercolour paper, using flowing washes, unpredictable textures and all the happy accidents watercolour has to offer. Think granulation, cabbages, splashes and textures — we’re embracing the wild side of the medium!

We’ll explore experimental tools, fluid layering, and mixed media techniques to build up expressive landscapes that are anything but tame.

🎨 “Encouraging cabbages. Embracing chaos. Painting landscapes that dance off the page.”
